(1) The Survival Mandarin Training is a training class for absolute beginners. Emphasis is placed on tone differentiation and pronunciation as well as survival language skills so that students can travel to China or simple speak in Chinese, for example, Numbers, greetings, basic etiquette, customs, food names, directions, and place names. By the end of this class students will be able to ask directions, navigate by taxi, go shopping, etc. in China.

(2) The Beginning Mandarin class is an introductory class for beginners or those who know just a few words of Chinese. Emphasis is placed on tone differentiation and pronunciation as well as survival language skills so that students will develop both the good habits and confidence that come from successfully completing daily tasks in Chinese language. Numbers, greetings, basic etiquette, customs, food names, directions, and place names are covered in the vocabulary while basic grammar is taught. By the end of this class students will be able to ask directions, buy a different products, take transportation, and hold a basic but polite conversation with a person of any age. In addition, students will be able to read and write simplified Chinese characters, hanyu pinyin and use a Chinese dictionary.

(3) The Intermediate Mandarin class is for students who know some Chinese and basic Chinese grammar, as well as able to engage in daily conversation. This course is more extensive in building skills: listening, writing, reading, and speaking abilities. Build vocabulary, continuing to study sentence patterns and grammar, intensify reading exercises, and understand the meaning and usage of words.

(4) The Advanced Mandarin class is for students who know at least 1500-2000 Chinese words, and have a system of knowledge of Chinese grammar, as well as able to speak in daily conversation at a higher level than the Intermediate class. There will be high emphasis on building listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.

The curriculum is mainly divided to three sections: Language skills, linguistics and Chinese literature and culture classes. The language skills lessons focus on Chinese reading, listening, writing and newspaper reading, etc. Linguistics skills include modern Chinese, ancient Chinese, and linguistics theory. Chinese literature and culture focuses on Chinese modern literature, Chinese social customs, etc. There are also some Business Chinese lessons available.
 
Chinese Classes for Kids
We have the customized materials for kids' classes. The syllabus for Chinese classes for kids usually consists of,

(1) Customized instructional materials which match kids' Chinese level.

(2) Teaching kids how to speak Chinese and read Chinese

(3) Teaching kids to write in proper grammatical fashion through essays in the future.

(4) Teaching kids Chinese culture throughout the instructional process, e.g., traditional Chinese stories, Chinese holidays, historical characters, paper cutting, games, and poems. This will keep classes interesting and fun.

(5) Having kids practice more in speaking Chinese and correcting kids pronunciations.

(6) Teaching kids Piyin and how to use Piyin to pronunce Chinese words.

(7) Teaching kids how to write Chinese characters. Chinese characters are image-like.
 
(8) Teaching kids to sing kids' Chinese songs and ballads.
 
(9) Having kids watch Chinese Cartoons to improve their listening abilities after classes.
 
(10) Having kids learn Chinese in a fun and friendly environment.
